Dr. Joe Yeh, Durendal Systems' Founder and President, is a serial entrepreneur who holds an M.D. from National Taiwan University and pursued doctoral studies in pathology at the University of Southern California, where he developed a strong interest in computer programming and image analysis.

Motivated by the transformative potential of AI in healthcare, he founded aetherAI, a medical technology company specializing in AI-powered digital pathology and diagnostic software. After winning the NVIDIA GTC Inception Award in 2018, aetherAI expanded its international footprint with a subsidiary in Japan and an established presence in Germany. In 2026, the company completed its initial public offering on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Recognizing shifting geopolitical trends and the critical role of unmanned systems, Dr. Yeh founded Durendal Systems in 2026 to focus on software system development and key components.

Victoria Huang-Doniat is the CEO of Durendal Systems.

Prior to joining Durendal Systems, she spent 15 years in the Taiwanese government. With deep expertise spanning the energy and entrepreneurship sectors, she has represented Taiwan at numerous international meetings and organizations, including serving as the Senior Science and Technology Officer at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston.

In 2020, the French government named her a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques in recognition of her work fostering collaboration between the startup ecosystems of Taiwan and France.

In 2026, she was awarded the Third Grade Service Medal by Taiwan's Executive Yuan in recognition of her dedicated service and contributions to the nation.
